About Vicky

Meet Vicky

Welcome, especially if this is your first visit

You’ve reached the home of Vicky Adin, historical fiction writer.

Her 2020 release, Portrait of a Man, is the new, stand-alone, soul-searching and heart-warming saga following the characters from the The Cornish Knot, available now.

The Costumier's Gift released in May 2019, is the poignant dual-timeline story of Jane, following the family sagas of the award-winning novels Brigid The Girl from County Clare and Gwenna The Welsh Confectioner

Vicky is a genealogist in love with history, and her stories are inspired by the true life stories of immigrants to New Zealand. She writes about people and their passions, and weaves family life and history together with love, laughter, lots of tears.

Please take a look around and leave your feedback.
