Such a unexpected pleasure. I was caught almost immediately by the description of a woman grieving the death of her husband and how her life changed irreparably over the first year as a widow. I knew that experience only too well. Yet the arrival of a ‘package’ changed all that for her! The story line involves travel to various cities I have also visited as well as a genealogical mystery that I found very intriguing. A delight to read and I await being able to obtain the sequel with impatience.
