There is nothing quite like an audience to lift the spirits and provide motivation for the next work in progress (WIP).
It was an honour recently to speak to a large crowd at the Palmerston North library about my stories, but especially my latest release Elinor, which is set in the Manawatū region.
We had a lovely morning tea with lots of chatter and people making new friends and contacts. I refrained from telling them too much about the next book in The Art of Secrets series because that is something I reserve for my newsletter subscribers.
